Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ArthaLearn ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") governed by the laws of India. If you do not agree, you may not access the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of India to use our services. By using ArthaLearn, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Educational Nature of Services (No Advisory)

ArthaLearn is NOT a SEBI-registered Investment Advisor (IA) or Research Analyst (RA).

• All content, charts, signals, and community discussions are for educational and informational purposes only.
• We do NOT provide specific buy/sell recommendations, tips, or guaranteed returns.
• You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Trading in securities involves high risk.

3A. AI-Powered Features (DRISHTI & Trade Analysis)

ArthaLearn uses artificial intelligence to analyze your own trade data for self-improvement purposes. This includes behavioural pattern detection, trade performance metrics, and emotional trading analysis.

• DRISHTI AI analyzes YOUR trading journal data to identify YOUR patterns. It does NOT analyze securities, predict market movements, or recommend specific stocks.
• AI-generated insights are based on historical data and may contain errors. You must verify all information independently before making trading decisions.
• ArthaLearn is responsible for the accuracy of AI outputs as required under the SEBI (Intermediaries) (Amendment) Regulations, 2025 regarding AI/ML usage.
• AI outputs are for self-reflection and educational use only. They do not constitute investment advice, research reports, or trading signals under SEBI regulations.

3B. Market Data & Regulatory Information

ArthaLearn displays publicly available information from SEBI, BSE, and NSE including circulars, corporate filings, earnings calendars, and corporate actions (dividends, splits, board meetings).

• This data is sourced from official public feeds and displayed as-is without editorial opinion.
• ArthaLearn does not provide interpretation, sentiment analysis, or trading recommendations based on this data.
• Users should verify all regulatory information directly with SEBI (sebi.gov.in) or their broker before acting on it.

3C. Gamification (XP, Levels, Missions)

ArthaLearn includes an XP (experience points) and levelling system designed to encourage disciplined journaling habits, not increased trading frequency.

• XP is earned for journaling, learning, and self-review activities — not for placing more trades or taking larger positions.
• The gamification system does not encourage, incentivize, or reward excessive trading, speculation, or risk-taking.
• Levels and badges are cosmetic indicators of journaling consistency. They do not confer any financial benefit, trading advantage, or investment insight.

3D. Free Trial & Subscription

ArthaLearn offers a 7-day free trial with the following limitations:

• Trade logging limited to 30 trades during the trial period.
• Portfolio tracking limited to 5 unique holdings.
• CSV data export is available only with a paid subscription.
• After trial expiry, your data remains safe and accessible in read-only mode. You can view all your trades and portfolio data but cannot create or edit entries without upgrading.
• Subscription cancellation is available at any time with no lock-in period. You can cancel from Settings → Billing with one click.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All content, including software code, analytics algorithms, educational videos, and text, is the exclusive property of ArthaLearn. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license for personal, non-commercial use. You may NOT:

• Reproduce, resell, or distribute our content.
• Share your account credentials with others.
• Scrape or reverse-engineer our platform.

5. User Conduct

We maintain a "Noise-Free" community. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that:

• Promote unauthorized stock tips or "pump and dump" schemes.
• Engage in harassment or hate speech.
• Spam other users with external links or solicitations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Indian law, ArthaLearn shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the Platform.
• Trading losses incurred based on information obtained from the Platform.
• Unauthorized access to your data due to your failure to secure account credentials.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ArthaLearn harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising out of your violation of these Terms or your violation of any rights of a third party.

8. Account Deletion & Anonymized Data

Upon account deletion, all personal information is permanently erased within 24 hours. We retain anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot identify you, for the purpose of improving our AI models and platform research, in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Guwahati, Assam, India.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
